Here are some of my siblings pictures during their vacation in our province. They had lots of fun even if it was raining almost all the time they were there.
But thankfully, they’re all happy, had fun and met our relatives there.
Happy New Year everyone.
As usual our New Year was just kind of normal night. Besides of the fireworks, I didn’t really feel that it was year ending night. I felt so boring knowing that i’m not with my family.
We cooked foods but eating wasn’t not really my trip. I was thinking my family in Philippines and that made me feel sad. My husband trying to something for me to be happy but it wasn’t working.
The night was ended. But at least I chatted a bit with my family in Philippines. Here are some of my family pictures during New Years eve.
I and hubby are just staying at home for Christmas eve. We don’t think something to do because he’s still little bit sick and I’m not feeling well after my few nights straight at work. Sleeping on the day time is not the same as sleeping on the night.
But of course we will cook Swedish traditional foods. As early as of now, we already cooked our ham. It will take few hours to cook the ham in the oven so we did it today. The rest of the foods will be cooked tomorrow.
It’s my 4th time celebrating Christmas here in Sweden. The first time was in Berlin Germany. 2nd and 4th (now) here in Sweden. But the 3rd time was in Philippines with my family.
I wish my family a very Merry Christmas and advance happy new year too.
I’m really excited!!!
Tomorrow I and my Filipina friends are going to have Christmas dinner at Kalesa Filipino restaurants. Kalesa is the first Filipino restaurant here in Gothenburg (as I know) and it’s the first time that they’re having a Christmas food table.
At first Kalesa owner thought of doing their Christmas food table just one day (Saturday) but due to public demand and fully booked on Saturday, he decided to have two days. So it will be Friday and Saturday and we will eat on Friday. Thanks to Kalesa restaurant for having Friday too because if they don’t have Friday then we cannot eat there.
Of course the menu are all Filipino foods. Typical Filipino Christmas foods will be in the table plus the over sweetness dessert. Yummy!!!

My husband is sweets lovers. Sometimes it comes to the point that I stopped him because I’m a kind of worried about what would be the results of too much eating sweets. Just recently, I found this shop for desserts online and I’m really amazed of how it looks. Looks really yummy. as I searching their different flavors, there are some that it’s not too sweet but really yummy. I’m thinking of giving dessert gift to my husband this coming Christmas. My husband would absolutely happy if he received this kind of gifts. Sounds perfect, right?
I’ve been searching for some business lately. Building a business is not easy as counting as one, two or three. It would take so much time, effort and strength of all the things that needed for building a business. I love cooking so I am planning of having restaurant business. Of course a restaurant where I am familiar with and can cook the dishes. Cooking is not a big problem but the restaurant supplies would be difficult especially in a place where I cannot find all the ingredients that I need. Supplies from outside the country would cost a lot. I’ll probably cook something that I can buy all the ingredients and have all the supplies to where I am now. Sounds good, right?
My Yummy Sunday is my husband’s always “pasalubong” for me. He knows I really love this typical Swedish bread with cream vanilla fillings… As in super yummy. Want some?
- love it

My Yummy Sunday entry for this week is the typical swedish roll cake… It’s one of my favorite roll cake here in Sweden. Very affordable…
When we celebrated our wedding anniversary, I cooked my husband’s favorite Filipino food which is beef calderita.
Here are the ingredients I used and the cooked beef calderita. This I would like to share to Yummy Sunday this week.
P:S: thanks to my sister Marlyn for writing all the needed ingredients for this beef calderita. She did this when she was here one year ago (on our wedding day)… thank you so much sis.
I attended the first birthday of my Filipina friend’s son Johan Lester “JL” yesterday. The foods was over flowing but what really captured my attention was the blue “puto” that served in the table. It was perfect partner for the “dinugoan”… Yummy Sunday visitors would surely want to taste this puto… Happy Sundaythe Kellhede family
