Having a very nice friends really feels like I’m having my own family here in Sweden.

Last Saturday, my dear friend Sarah, celebrates their daughter first birthday. At first I was kind of thinking twice to attend the party due my working schedules but everything would be fine as long as I really wanted to be part of it.

Friday afternoon, I helped her cooking some of her menu. Saturday, I ended my working hours at 4pm so I ran to Sarah’s place to attend the party. I was so happy meeting my Filipina friends again. It’s been a while since we didn’t met due to our busy schedule.

January 7th is the birthday of my dear mother.

My mother and my siblings in Philippines celebrated mama’s birthday in Tagaytay. They were there over night and enjoy the beautiful places in Tagaytay. Unfortunately, they were little bit disappointed of the weather and the Tagaytay zoo.

As my sister Gina said, it was raining and the zoo was not the way they were expecting. But they were happy there.

Happy New Year everyone.

As usual our New Year was just kind of normal night. Besides of the fireworks, I didn’t really feel that it was year ending night. I felt so boring knowing that i’m not with my family.

We cooked foods but eating wasn’t not really my trip. I was thinking my family in Philippines and that made me feel sad. My husband trying to something for me to be happy but it wasn’t working.

The night was ended. But at least I chatted a bit with my family in Philippines. Here are some of my family pictures during New Years eve.

It’s the second birthday of my sister Gina’s little girl today but sadly, they cannot celebrate it at home.

Quin-quin was discharged last Monday after she was hospitalized due to diarrhea but the night after she discharged, she went back to hospital because she was vomiting.

When she discharged last Monday, they ate their dinner at mang inasal and maybe for some reason Quin ate something from her foods that made her sick. They went directly to the hospital but the doctors didn’t see anything even on her lab so they decided to confine Quin for observation.

I chatted with my sister Annie last night and she said Quin-quin is doing fine. She seems not sick anymore so they’re all hoping she can go home today to celebrate her second birthday. Thankfully, her father is in Philippines now.

Baby Aquinnah Mackenzie “Quin-quin” happy, happy birthday little girl. Get well soon and always good girl as you are ha. You’re such a sweet little girl. We all love you and always be there for you. Happy birthday once again.

My sister Gina’s little angel Aquinnah Mackenzie “Quin-quin” will be celebrating her second birthday tomorrow November 10. She’s becoming a very cute and more beautiful little girl.

But sadly, I feel worried about the latest news about her. She was hospitalized due to some water virus she got. she had diarrhea. she got amoeba from the water. They just move to their new house in Cavite and not even one month since they moved, she got sick.

I hope and really pray she will be better so soon. As I heard she’s ok now but I don’t know if she’s still in the hospital. Her daddy is coming to Philippines I think today for his business trip and for celebrating the birthday of Quin-quin.
Get well soon little angel. I and your daddy ninong tito Lennart (my husband) loves you dearly.
